During the month of October, the customer success team at STQRY launched several new mobile and web applications for clients across the globe ranging from museums to apple orchards! Learn more about our growing collection of STQRY family members and their amazing stories to share.
Safe Haven Holocaust Museum
Safe Haven is the only World War II Refugee Shelter in the United States. The Safe Haven Holocaust Museum is dedicated to sharing the stories of the 982 refugees from World War II who were were brought in 1944 to Fort Ontario in Oswego, NY as "guests" of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Seeking to preserve the unique stories of the refugees, the team at Safe Haven turned to the developers at STQRY to create the Safe Haven Museum App. The app recounts the refugees’ escape from Death and Persecution - and celebrates their new beginnings in America. Visitors can listen to narratives as they explore the newly redesigned museum or take a “virtual” tour.
City Art Walk - Tauranga
City Art Walk - Tauranga is a self-guided tour of twenty artworks located in downtown Tauranga. The team at STQRY launched this app last month helping to connect residents and visitors with local artists.
Led by art advisor and strategist Sonya Korohina, City Art Walk connects users with cultural tourism experiences. “We hope, in taking the tour, people will start to see the city with fresh eyes, and come away with a stronger sense of connection to their home or – for visitors – our city,” Korohina says.
Audiences can download the free mobile app beforehand, or at any of the artworks via an on-site QR code. Each entry in the app gives an insight into the artwork and the artist who created it.
