Highlight #2: Wetlands Park Navigator by Clark County Nevada

Wetlands Park is a 2,900-acre natural area containing both common and rare habitats in the Mojave 

Desert, including aquatic wetlands and riparian woodlands. With over 300 species of birds and 70 species of mammals and other wildlife, the park is a hotspot for birders and animal enthusiasts of all kinds. Over 30 miles of trails for hikers, cyclists, and equestrians crisscross the Park and entice visitors to discover something new about the region. Six trailheads provide access to multi-use trails for hikers, cyclists, and equestrians.

Willowsford Conservancy Trails

The Willowsford trail network consists of approximately 35 miles of natural surface, paved, mowed grass, and crushed aggregate trails that weave through HOA and Conservancy managed lands. The trails are terrific for hiking, walking, jogging, and nature exploration, and some of the trails are suitable for mountain biking. This app is provided to help navigate the Willowsford trail network and includes information about HOA/Conservancy amenities and natural areas.

Historic Huguenot Street 

Historic Huguenot Street is a National Historic Landmark District that encompasses 30 buildings across 10 acres at the heart of the original Huguenot settlement in New Paltz, NY. The street features seven historic stone houses dating to the 18th century, a reconstructed 1717 Huguenot church, archaeological sites, and a burial ground that dates to the very first settlers. Shakespear Explorer

This app will help you get a taste of all the wonderful sights and experiences that Shakespear Open Sanctuary has to offer. The app includes two starter tours. Simply download the trails you want while on Wifi, then they will work at the park without an internet connection or phone signal. Each trail has a series of stops featuring information, videos, or photos and directions to the next stop. To get notified when you reach each stop, ensure you have “notifications turned on” for the app, plus sound turned up on your phone. Click on the map icon to show the trail route and your location too.
